With a population of less than 2% Christians, Japan is considered one of the least reached people groups, according to the Joshua Project. We are doing our part to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Japan through entertainment. In particular, we are creating a mobile website with animated stories and other tools to guide them towards a relationship with Jesus; we’re calling it our Mobile Site Initiative.

We have 3 goals through this project:

  1. Promote the idea that it is okay to be both Japanese and Christian
  2. Present the Gospel clearly and give an opportunity for response
  3. Direct people to discipleship

You can be part of this project too, through prayer, financial support via tax-deductible donations, and by volunteering your talents! Check out our partner page to see what you can do to share the life-giving message of Christ with the people of Japan.

LLJ Stickers and Buttons!

You may have noticed that we've added stickers and buttons that say "Let's Love Japan" on them to our "shop" page. Please consider buying a set of these as a way of supporting our organization's goals, both by spreading the word about our organization, and financially. We estimate that with each set purchased, we'll be able to hand out 85 more flyers. That means 85 more Japanese people will get a chance to hear the Gospel for the first time! Not to mention the buttons are fashionable, and the stickers are cool!

Understanding Japan Through the Eyes of Christian Faith
This book is by Dr. Samuel Lee. He takes a look at the history and contemporary culture of Japan and analyzes it from a Christian perspective. Samuel Lee is in strong agreement with Uchimura Kanzo's views on Japanese Christianity. The book is quite eye opening and touches on some things that others over-looked. Lee recently completed another book, Rediscovering Japan, Reintroducing Christendom.

Thank you RJC!

The conference in Seattle was a wonderful experience. So many people love Japan in the Northwest! All of the guests were inspiring and encouraging. The exchange of ideas and openness to partnership will go a long way to sharing the Good News with the Japanese. Thank you to Don Wright and the RJC Network for organizing the event.
